Pakistan's Digital Literacy Program is expanding to reach 100 government schools across the country, including 40 in Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan, benefiting 150,000 individuals. The program aims to educate students on online safety through guidebooks and awareness videos developed by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and TikTok. The PTA has also established a Child Online Protection committee for national and international collaborations. The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication is promoting digital literacy, STEM education, and training in emerging technologies such as e-learning, AI, cybersecurity, and data science to equip 200,000 youth with in-demand skills.
