The Medicine-Engineering Collaborative Innovation Research Laboratory was officially unveiled in the presence of university officials and hospital administrators. The partnership aims to promote interdisciplinary research, student exchanges, and postdoctoral development, with a focus on improving diagnostic tools, patient care, and cultivating future medical professionals for China. PolyU has trained over 50,000 healthcare professionals in its 40+ years of health science education and is preparing to establish its third medical school to meet growing demand in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
