Dubai Appoints 22 Chief AI Officers Across Government

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been actively promoting the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve governance and efficiency. In Dubai, 22 Chief AI Officers were appointed to help drive the use of artificial intelligence across a variety of departments including the police, transportation and tourism. This coincides with the opening of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence to train government employees in generative AI.
