Laila Khan Furniturewalla's mother Sundri Khan is an example of this, having encouraged her daughter to pursue her love of art from a young age.
The Telangana Social Welfare Gurukul Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) has seen the benefits of art education firsthand through its students' success at various competitions. Led by art teacher Ms Snigdha, these students have won gold medals and demonstrated their artistic abilities to a wider audience. The recognition they received was acknowledged with an official letter of appreciation from TGSWREIS Principal Uppal.
