In line with her vision to eradicate poverty and ensure equal opportunities for all students, particularly girls, through initiatives such as digital learning rooms, the Chief Minister of Punjab has proposed a mutual partnership with Turkey to promote education and exchange programs. The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has launched new digital textbooks that will be pre-loaded onto computers in ICT labs and Chrome books being deployed in schools. These textbooks focus on nurturing critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills while promoting inclusion and reflecting local culture and context. The alignment of these textbooks with Pakistan's National Curriculum is also noteworthy, as it ensures that students are equipped with the skills necessary for 21st century challenges. The inclusion of QR-coded access to lesson plans, engaging narratives, practice tasks, and gamified elements will make learning fun for young learners. The creation of Pakistan's first AI University and a new Internet City named after Nawaz Sharif is also a testament to her commitment to digital education. This initiative is a significant step towards achieving the goal of providing quality education to all students in Punjab.
