Inclusive Education Initiatives Gain Momentum
The Jordanian government has launched an initiative to enhance educational environments for students with disabilities, aligning with its Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Inclusive Education Strategy 2020-2030. This partnership aims to integrate students with disabilities into public schools, promote gender equality, and support girls with disabilities in achieving their educational aspirations.
The government is implementing this initiative in collaboration with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Ministry of Education, with additional support from the German Development Bank (KfW). This effort highlights the importance of inclusive education and equal opportunities for students with disabilities.
