Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has been used to analyze photos on an e-commerce platform, identifying up to 40 paintings as likely fakes. The AI algorithm was able to accurately identify all analyzed images as not being authentic, with a high probability of around 95%. This application of AI highlights its potential for use in verifying the authenticity of artworks and other valuable items.
