The UAE’s Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Omar Al Olama, emphasized the importance of being selective when working with AI firms, citing potential security concerns. The move is seen as a strategic shift in the global AI landscape, with the US and UAE governments aligning on AI priorities to counter China’s growing influence in the field.
