More than 500 members of the Essec Business School community, including students, alumni, faculty and staff, will participate in a volunteerism effort with non-profit organisations in Singapore. The initiative, led by dean Vincenzo Vinzi, aims to deepen its impact through skills-based volunteering, particularly around corporate volunteerism. Participants will engage in service-based volunteering via two programmes: assisting children with homework help and other activities at FaithActs' centres, and a field work experience programme where students will complete 35 hours of volunteer work per week for four weeks. Additionally, students will participate in a six-week Junior Consultant Experience to provide skills-based support to FaithActs and its social service agencies on business problems such as fundraising and talent management.
