He felt pressure to conform to certain beauty standards, saying "there's a quite toxic culture of how people are treated" and that he hated his body at the time. Stevenson's disorder worsened when he became heavily involved in the gym and followed an extremely restrictive diet, which ultimately led to mental health problems from 2010 onwards.
