The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) inadvertently published questions for nearly half of the 116 VCE exams online in advance, affecting 56 tests. Education Minister Ben Carroll announced that details of the affected exams will be released in coming days, but school principals are concerned about the delay, saying it is causing stress for students who fear losing marks and want to know which subjects have been compromised.

The exams will be held in 82 cities across the country on February 9, 2025, in both Hindi and English mediums. The General Ability Test (GAT) will be conducted online, while the Creative Ability Test (CAT) will be held on paper.
