Researchers Develop AI That Predicts 45% of Suicide Attempts

Researchers at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital developed an artificial intelligence-aided suicide risk prediction model that detected 45% of suicide attempts or deaths with 90% specificity, two to three years in advance. The model was presented as part of a symposium on mental health research, which also featured emerging treatments such as ketamine for depression and machine learning to detect impairment from THC intoxication.
