Oxford academics are lobbying against digital assessment due to concerns that students may use AI tools like ChatGPT to cheat. A lecturer stated that advances in technology have made it unacceptable for computer-based learning and testing to be used, citing the need for proper invigilation to prevent students from using chatbots, searching online, or copying and pasting answers.
