According to data from Johns Hopkins University's Homeschool Hub, approximately 5.82% of American K-12 students were homeschooled in the 2022-2023 school year. This growth is attributed in part to families who began homeschooling their children when public health policies forced traditional public schools to close, and found they preferred this approach.
