The Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation has launched a mobile lab, the AP Maker-Lab-On-Wheels, to provide digital and STEM learning opportunities to students in remote areas of the state. Infosys is partnering with the corporation to bring transformative skill opportunities closer to students. The vehicle will have interactive learning sessions and provide free access to various courses through the Infosys Springboard platform, with World Class Technology certificates issued upon completion. The lab will be equipped with laptops, tabs, and necessary kits for students. Infosys has invested Rs 5 crore in setting up the lab and plans to spend an average of Rs 1,500 per student, aiming to reach 4,800 students every three months.
