The ArtPortalCebu is hosting the Philippines-Korea Art Exchange Exhibition in collaboration with Filarts Inc. at its location on F. Manalo Street, Cebu City from February 3 to 12, 2025. The exhibition will feature works by a group of Filipino artists including Lida Maria Aguila, Roy Ama, and others.

Despite this, he is known for his distinctive style, which focused on rounded, archaic forms from the mid-1950s until 1980 when blindness forced him to stop painting. A recent exhibition at Peter Freeman, Inc., featuring 35 charcoal drawings by Stout, revealed a decisive and searching quality in his work after he shifted away from geometric figures towards pared-down geometric abstraction. The drawings, made on identically sized sheets of Strathmore paper between the 1940s and 1952, demonstrate Stout's ability to achieve a range of subtle tones using graphite pencil marks on even surfaces of gray.
