The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has launched the Digital Learning and Skills Enrichment Initiative (DLSEI) 3.0 in collaboration with Coursera, a leading online learning platform. The initiative aims to provide free access to over 12,000 online courses and guided projects for 100,000 students and faculty members from universities across Pakistan. This is the third phase of DLSEI, which has already up-skilled over 45,000 young people through deep-skills certifications from internationally recognized institutions since its inception in 2018. The HEC Chairman, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, highlighted the significance of the partnership and urged universities, faculty, and students to take full advantage of the opportunity provided by Coursera. Matt Klein, Director of International Governments at Coursera, expressed his organization's honor in partnering with HEC to equip Pakistani youth with skills needed for the digital economy.
