The company, which was established in November 2018, is now expanding into the US market after being accepted into the Berkeley Skydeck IPP Program. Bamboo Technology aims to target the human resources space with YangYang as a tool for companies to offer on-demand mental health support to their employees. The app has already gained traction in Taiwan, where it is used by hospitals, clinics, universities, and government agencies due to a shortage of mental health workers.
