Meta Testing AI Image Generation Feature in WhatsApp

Meta’s WhatsApp app is introducing a new AI feature, called Imagine, which allows users to create AI-generated images in chat rooms. The feature is currently available in WhatsApp’s beta version 2.24.12.4 for Android devices and is supported by Meta AI, a smart assistant developed by Meta. Users can access the feature by clicking the attachment icon in the chat room, where they can quickly generate AI images. It is not yet clear how the Imagine feature page will appear or when it will be released to the public version. This new feature is part of Meta’s ongoing efforts to integrate AI capabilities into WhatsApp.
