Google’s AI Overview has been found to provide incorrect images for several searches on common edible mushrooms, posing a potential risk to novice foragers. According to a foraging expert, the AI-generated image of a mushroom described as a Beech mushroom was actually an image of a Boletus, a different and unrelated edible mushroom.
