Baidu’s Ernie Bot, an AI model, has gained significant traction since its launch in March 2022, with over 200 million users and exceeding 85,000 enterprise clients. The latest version of Ernie LLM (Large Language Model) is comparable to OpenAI’s GPT-4, a highly advanced public-facing model. Baidu is monetizing its AI products by introducing tools for developers to build applications, AI agents, and models without requiring coding knowledge, as well as offering a paid version of Ernie 4.0 for $7.50/month.
