Canadian Filmmakers Use AI to Create Short Film

A Canadian creative team used OpenAI’s new text-to-video AI model, Sora, to produce a short film featuring a balloon-headed man. The team relied solely on the AI model to generate footage, shot by shot, rather than using their own technical skills in filmmaking. The film, “air head,” follows the character as he navigates the world and explores themes of fragility. This project demonstrates how artificial intelligence is being used to create the next generation of films.
